PADI Advanced Open Water Qualification
|
|
This certificate will allow you to continue your exploration adventures into the underwater world.
The program helps you to fine tune your diving skills and will arm you with the knowledge to enable you to dive some of the world's
top diving sites in the Red Sea. The wreck of the SS Thistlegorm, the Straits of Tiran and Ras Mohammad's Shark and Jolanda Reefs can
be explored in greater depth with the Advanced badge, literally.

The course is designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water course. Normally schools have their
previous Open Water divers complete this more advanced qualification the following year.
The syllabus helps you to increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.
This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor.

You can choose from 15 types of Adventure Dives to complete your course, including wreck diving, night diving, peak
performance buoyancy and digital underwater photography.
Compulsory topics include understanding the physiological effects of deeper scuba diving, practical
aspects of deeper diving (up to 30m/100ft) and more ways to use your underwater compass.

|
|
|
You use all the basic scuba gear including your underwater compass. Depending on which three adventure
dives you pick, you may also try out underwater photography equipment, DPVs (underwater scooters), dive lights and dive flags.
As the course typically takes 2 days and over the week that the pupils complete their PADI Advanced Course,
the remaining time (usually 3 or 4 days) will be spent fun diving.
